Gripple developed this heavy-duty drive rod for use with their light-duty ground anchors. This hardened steel rod measures 48 inches in length and 3/4-inch in diameter. This drive rod is essential when installing Gripple ground anchors. It penetrates even the toughest soils with ease.
Its tapered head profile inserts into the anchor for easy installation. After driving the anchor to your desired depth, remove the drive rod by hand, with a post puller, or with the Gripple JackJaw Extract & Set Tool. To load-lock the anchor, pull upward on the top loop. You must load-lock/set the anchors before you apply any load.
