An effective control of whitefly in greenhouses!
BioBee’s BioEncarsia is a parasitoid wasp also known as Encarsia Formosa. The adult female of the species has a black and yellow body. This parasitoid wasp targets whiteflies as hosts during reproduction. When the adult female finds a whitefly, she inserts her egg within its body. The host pupa changes its color and turns black/ brown. After the end of larval development, the adult cuts a rounded hole to emerge from the host.
Apply 1-1/2 parasitoids per 10 square feet. Repeat weekly until whitefly has been controlled. While the bottle is closed, set it horizontally and turn to mix the media with the predator. Sprinkle over plant leaves or place into a BioBee D-Box.
